When I knew I was pregnant in 2011, the thought of being able to work full time or care for my baby as a SAHM has crossed my mind for hundred times.
In my dream, I want to be SAHTT and have high tea with ladies while my baby is comfortably taken care by the helper. But in reality, I was FORCED to work at home (WAHM) while I took care of Little Big One till he is 17.5 months to get into a Childcare.
It has never been easy with me being.
- Mommy of Little Big One
- Helper of the family
- Wife of the Only Son. (Teaching him to do housework is a big headache and he is 40++ years old when Little Big One was born.)
- Teacher for the Little Big One.
- Nurse for Little Big One. (He has several cases of eczema, vomiting and rhinitis.)
- WAHM to pay for my own expenses as ‘MONEY’ is never enough when you need to visit PD and TCM almost every month.
Fast forward into 2016, I am now a FTWM with a 5 years old Mr Little Big One and 3 years old Ms Little Small One. The burden of the family is onto me as the side effect to Daddy’s retinal rupture in November 2014 arises. He had just gone for the 2nd and 3rd operation of cataract after the operation on his both eyes in November 2014.
Life still goes on with me expanding the business and Daddy of Little Ones is working in the same company as me. Always remember that there are people worse than you when you feel so lousy after taking care of your worst boss at home or handling the worst bosses/clients after a hard day work.
As such, we have started giving a small giveaway every month to celebrate this challenging life of ours and sharing the up and down of our life. This October, Ebos will bring a parent and a kid to Kidzania for FREE.
